Additionally, thank you to Chad Barger for singing the national anthem so beautifully, the Bakersfield College Chamber Choir for the entertainment, Amber Brewer for her hard work (while sick) orchestrating the luncheon along with the Kern County Bar Association, everyone who brought toy donations for the Jamison Center and purchased opportunity drawing tickets to allow us to assist CASA and Bakersfield Christmas for Seniors. This year’s total amount raised from the Opportunity Drawing ticket sales was approximately $2,750, nearly double last year’s proceeds! Each charity will receive about $1,375.
We hope you all enjoyed the luncheon and we hope to see you next year!
We hope you will join us for the January 10, 2013 ethics CLE luncheon. Ed Thomas will be speaking on “Don’t Do It. . . Just Because You Can!” Please note that the luncheon will be held on the 2nd Floor of the Stockdale Tower and not on the 12th Floor. Please contact Nancy Boles (nboles@kleinlaw.com or 661-328-5219) to RSVP for the luncheon.
Did you create any New Year’s Resolutions? My resolution is to not make any resolutions. I find if I set a New Years Resolution, I either (1) forget it or (2) never accomplish it. Rather than continuously failing, I’m avoiding the issue altogether! If you made a New Year’s Resolution, I wish you the best of luck in accomplishing it.
We hope each of you had a wonderful Holiday and have a great new year to come! Now time to get back to work…
